Curiosity
Within our spacious toddler room, we have an open messy area that the children have access to painting and mark making, sand and water, playdough and tactile activities. Activities are planned daily on the children’s current interests to stimulate their curious minds.
Praise and reward
At our nursery we focus on positive reinforcements and praise every bit of good behaviour, no matter how small.
Independence
Children have a desire to try and do things for themselves and often are very successful; with plenty of praise, toddlers will develop a strong self-esteem. Adjacent to our toddler room is a cloakroom area where toddlers are encouraged to dress independently by putting on their own coats and shoes ready for outdoor play.
